In South Florida, a late‑season front is moving in, bringing cooler temperatures, gusty northeast winds and the potential for heavy rain. Forecasts call for 1‑2 inches of rain across the area, with isolated amounts of 3‑5 inches, prompting a marginal risk for excessive rainfall and street‑flooding concerns.

Both regions face increased thunderstorm activity, lightning, and gusty winds, with the Florida coast also warned of rough surf, dangerous rip currents and hazardous marine conditions.
