Southern Italy launches new investment funds for SMEs

New financial initiatives have been launched to support business growth and digital transition in Southern Italy.

In the Molise region, the ‘IMPATTO’ notice has been introduced to facilitate access to credit through zero-interest loans. The measure aims to support regional companies in their development, innovation, and production strengthening processes, particularly in response to rising interest rates. Regional officials held meetings in Termoli, Campobasso, and Isernia to detail the requirements and procedures for applicants.

Additionally, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy has opened the ‘Sustainable Investments 4.0’ call. This program allocates over €447 million to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Campania and other Mezzogiorno regions, including Basilicata, Calabria, Molise, Puglia, Sicily, and Sardinia. Managed by Invitalia S.p.A., the funds are intended to drive ecological and digital transitions, with specific reserves prioritized for micro and small enterprises.
