Southern Lebanon hit by explosions and military strikes

Intense military activity has been reported in southern Lebanon, with strikes and explosions targeting several towns. In Mansuri, a series of explosions occurred, reportedly setting multiple homes on fire and causing significant damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. Heavy smoke was observed in the area due to the resulting fires.

In the Hiyam and Mansuri areas, reports indicated severe explosions during ongoing attacks. Additionally, the Lebanese Army reported that Israeli forces approached a temporary observation point in Deyr Mimas, located in the Marjayoun district, and deployed stun grenades around the site.

The Lebanese Army stated that after the encounter, they reinforced their positions in the area. Following coordination through the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L), the Israeli force reportedly withdrew, and Lebanese troops returned to their main bases. This escalation follows a period of intense conflict and displacement in the region.
