A chain collision involving three light vehicles occurred around 08:00 near the Krajmorie junction on the Sozopol‑Burgas highway. The crash caused serious material damage but no injuries. Traffic was halted, forming a kilometre‑long queue, and a second lighter accident further downstream compounded the congestion.

Drivers reported a seven‑kilometre line of cars between Sozopol and Primorsko, with many waiting for hours because there is no alternative route. Some motorists turned back toward Sozopol, adding to the backlog in the opposite direction.
