Spain allocates €1.006 billion to maintain 3,670 km of state roads

The Spanish government has approved contracts worth €1.006 billion (excluding VAT) to maintain and manage the State Road Network. The funding will cover repair, signage, cleaning and other works on 3,670 km of highways, aiming to keep the routes in good condition and improve safety for users.

Officials say the investment will boost the logistics and transport sectors by reducing travel times, lowering operating costs for carriers and decreasing the risk of accidents on poorly maintained roads.
