Spain announces 2027 specialized health training exam details

The Spanish Ministry of Health has announced the 2027 call for Specialized Health Training (FES) exams. For the region of Andalusia, 2,068 positions have been allocated out of a national total of 12,850, representing a 3.9% increase compared to the previous year.

The call covers various disciplines, including Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Psychology, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. The largest portion is dedicated to the Medical Resident (MIR) program, which accounts for 9,676 positions. Other allocations include 2,341 for Nursing (EIR), 377 for Pharmacy, and 293 for Psychology.

Applicants must submit their requests between September 1 and September 14, 2026. The examination is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2027. The test consists of a 200-question multiple-choice exam with a duration of four and a half hours.
