Spain announces 5,547 permanent civil service positions

The Spanish Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration reported that ministries have opened a total of 5,547 permanent civil‑service posts under the IV Collective Agreement for July. The vacancies are part of the 2023‑2024 public employment offers, are free‑turn and promote internal candidates, and cover 126 specialties ranging from general maintenance and vehicle driving to nursing assistance, museum attendance, graphic arts, physiotherapy, laboratory work, kitchen management, hairdressing and choir singing.

The Defence Ministry posted the largest share with 1,341 positions, followed by the Interior (795), Ecological Transition (629), Inclusion (389), Culture (382) and Social Rights (348). A dedicated allocation of 301 places is reserved for people with intellectual disabilities (group E0). Applicants must submit their requests electronically through the official model 790 form.
