Spain Ministry of Health announces 12,850 specialized training positions for 2027

The Spanish Ministry of Health has announced the call for Specialized Health Training (FSE) positions for 2027, offering a total of 12,850 vacancies. This represents a 3.9% increase compared to the previous year and a 53% cumulative increase since 2018.

The distribution of positions includes 9,676 for Medicine (MIR), 2,341 for Nursing (EIR), 377 for Pharmacy (FIR), and 293 for Psychology (PIR). Additional spots are available for Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Most positions are within public institutions, though some are allocated to private centers.

Interested candidates must submit applications between September 1 and September 14, 2026. The entrance examinations are scheduled for January 23, 2027. The Ministry has also implemented strict measures to prevent technological fraud during the exams, prohibiting the use of communication devices.
