Spain approves design study for Guadalajara N‑320 highway variant

Spain’s Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has provisionally approved the informative study for the N‑320 highway variant around Guadalajara. The study, which will soon be opened to public consultation and published in the Boletín Oficial del Estado, selects the second of four alternatives – a 6.63‑km alignment that connects the N‑320 at kilometre 269.48 to the A‑2 interchange at Cabanillas.

The program, estimated at €103.7 million (including VAT), also includes a split of the N‑320 between kilometres 290.02 and 295.68 to give that section autovía characteristics, a new east‑bound link between the Fuente La Niña and the existing N‑320/N‑320A junction, and various upgrades and remodelings of existing interchanges to improve connectivity and safety.
