The Spanish Basketball Federation will stage the Jr. NBA 3x3 league in Valladolid on 13 September, bringing together around 300 under‑12 players. Thirty men's and thirty women's teams will represent the 30 NBA franchises, competing in a six‑group format with playoffs. Registration runs until 1 September, and each participant receives a replica jersey of the assigned franchise.

In the professional arena, several roster changes were announced for the upcoming 2026‑27 season. Mamadi Diakite will leave Baskonia, while Lucas Marí returns to Valencia Basket. Dmytro Skapintsev signs with Leyma Coruña, Nikola Tanaskovic is set to play the EuroLeague with Partizan, and Omar Silverio renews his contract with Movistar Estudiantes.
