The most expensive hour was between 22:00‑23:00, when the price reached €148.47 /MWh, while the cheapest period was 06:00‑07:00 at €119.98 /MWh. The market operator OMIE noted a 743 % increase compared with the same day a year earlier.
The preceding day, Thursday 18 June 2026, saw a lower average price of €92.64 /MWh. The cheapest hour occurred between 13:00‑14:00 at €17.68 /MWh, whereas the peak hour again fell in the late evening (22:00‑23:00) at €138.90 /MWh.
