Spain hosts gourmet burger festivals in Caspe and Mijas

Spain is hosting several major gastronomic events focused on gourmet burgers. In Caspe, the Burger Manía Fest is scheduled to take place from August 27 to August 30, 2026, at the exterior of the Caspe Pavilion. Organized by Kilber Prime Event, the festival will feature a selection of Spain’s most recognized burgers, artisanal beers, and urban cuisine. Entry to the event is free, with operating hours from 20:00 to 24:00.

Simultaneously, the Champions Burger championship has launched in Mijas at the Las Lagunas fairground. Running from August 20 to September 6, the competition features seventeen food trucks competing for a national title through public voting. The event, themed around an NFL-style “Big Game” atmosphere, includes various culinary offerings such as premium grilled meats, specialty sides, and a dedicated cheesecake section featuring diverse flavors.
