Spain hosts solar‑eclipse art exhibition in Ferrol and free marine‑park tours on the coast

A guided visit to the collective exhibition “Eclipsarte. O camiño do sol” will take place on 5 August at the Museo de la Construcción Naval in Ferrol. The show, featuring more than 40 Galician artists, interprets the upcoming 2026 total solar eclipse and the Camino de Santiago. It opened on 8 July and will remain on display until 30 August.

On 4 August, the Centre of Interpretation Faro de l’Albir organised free guided tours to celebrate the International Day of Marine Protected Areas. The event, coordinated by the Serra Gelada Natural Park and the municipalities of Alfàs del Pi, Benidorm and Altea, offered expert explanations of the park’s geology, marine biodiversity and conservation importance, followed by a catamaran excursion along the Serra Gelada coastline.
