Spain political polls indicate potential right-wing majority

Recent political polling in Spain indicates a significant shift toward right-wing parties. According to a Sigma Dos survey published by El Mundo, the combination of the Partido Popular (PP) and Vox could secure an absolute majority, potentially winning between 196 and 204 seats in the legislature.

The data suggests a major territorial shift, with the center-right block projected to prevail in 38 out of 50 provinces. In contrast, the PSOE is projected to see a decline, potentially dropping to 26.1 percent of the vote and losing approximately 1.4 million votes compared to 2023. Other left-wing groups, including Sumar and Podemos, are also projected to see significant reductions in parliamentary representation.

Other recent polls from NC Report and Sociométrica corroborate this trend, showing various projections that favor a PP-Vox majority exceeding 200 seats. Analysts suggest this trend reflects growing dissatisfaction with the current government's reliance on regionalist and separatist parties to maintain power.
