Spain reports early morning fires in Nigrán and El Puerto de Santa María

Two separate fire incidents occurred in Spain during the early morning hours, resulting in property damage and injuries.

In Nigrán, a vehicle was completely destroyed by a fire that owners believe was intentional. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Rúa Monteferro de Panxón. While the car was fully engulfed in flames, firefighters from GES de O Val Miñor prevented the fire from spreading to a nearby motorhome and a residence. No personal injuries were reported, and the Guardia Civil is investigating the circumstances.

In El Puerto de Santa María, a fire broke out in a ground-floor apartment on Calle Virgen de los Milagros shortly after 1:30 a.m. The blaze left one home completely destroyed and damaged an upper-floor residence, forcing a second family to seek alternative accommodation. Three individuals were hospitalized for smoke inhalation. Emergency services, including local and national police and health officials, responded to the scene. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
