A study by the Confederación Autismo España reveals that 90% of students with autism have experienced school bullying, with 60% of these cases being recurrent. The research, which included 259 students aged 8 to 20, highlights social exclusion as a prominent form of harassment and emphasizes the need for better coordination among educational agents to provide specialized responses.

In the Aragon region, data from the Department of Education, Science, and Universities shows a significant increase in mental health concerns. Between September 8 and October 19, educational centers opened 120 protocols for students exhibiting suicidal ideation. By the end of the 2025/26 academic year, total protocols for suicidal ideation reached 1,218, up from 847 the previous year.

Additionally, Aragon recorded 593 school bullying protocols during the 2025/26 course, an increase of 207 cases compared to the previous year. The region also reported 170 protocols related to gender and sexual violence, as well as 33 protocols involving the detection of youth gangs.
