Spain survey shows 70% feel society neglects elderly and youth

According to the WIN World Survey 2026, 70% of Spaniards believe that society does not provide sufficient attention to its most vulnerable groups, specifically the elderly and the youth.

Data from the survey, conducted in Spain by Instituto DYM, shows that 72.9% of respondents feel society neglects the elderly, with higher levels of concern among women (74.6%) and those aged 46 to 65 (77.8%). Students and retirees expressed the highest levels of criticism.

Regarding the youth, 68.8% of Spaniards believe society does not care enough about them. This sentiment is particularly strong among women (70.3%) and the 36 to 45 age group. Globally, the survey indicates a similar trend, with two-thirds of the world's population identifying age discrimination as a serious issue.
