Spanish bullfighting fairs 2026 unveil line‑ups and new management

The 2026 bullfighting calendar in Spain features several major events. In Palencia, the Feria Taurina de San Antolín will run from 29 August to 2 September, with three corridas, a rejón and a practical class showcasing bulls from El Capea, Carmen Lorenzo, Núñez del Cuvillo, Morante de la Puebla, Roca Rey and others.

The Diputación de Málaga has awarded a five‑year contract to Tauroemoción to run the La Malagueta bullring, making it the first Primera‑category arena managed by the company. Plans include a renovated Corrida Picassiana, new visual identity and promotions aimed at expanding the audience.

Ahead of the San Fermín festival in Pamplona, the Pincha and El Capa ganaderías have delivered their first groups of novillos for the July 5‑6 and 6‑7 bull runs, respectively, with details on each animal’s name, weight and lineage.

The Real Feria de Algeciras on 26 June will see Alejandro Talavante, Juan Ortega and Pablo Aguado headline a corrida featuring the historic Zalduendo herd, while the afternoon concludes with an indulto of the Toro Algarrobito and a la hombros finale for Tomás Rufo, David Galván and Marco Pérez.
