Spain's Imserso senior travel program deadline July 10
The deadline to apply for the 2026‑2027 season of the Imserso senior travel programme closes on 10 July. The scheme offers 879,213 subsidised places for people aged 65 or over and pensioners, covering coastal resorts, the Balearic and Canary Islands, cultural circuits and nature tours across Spain. New applicants must submit a request either electronically through the Imserso website with a digital certificate, DNIe or Cl@ve, or by mailing a paper form to the agency in Madrid; existing beneficiaries who received a renewal letter are entered automatically.
Travel costs vary by destination, length and whether transport is included – for example, a ten‑day mainland trip with transport starts at about €309, while the same in the Canary Islands exceeds €460. A low‑cost option without transport is roughly €220‑€270. A special €50 social tariff is reserved for 7,447 low‑income pensioners. Applicants will receive accreditation letters with reservation codes in the second half of August, sales open in September and trips can begin from October. No extensions to the 10 July deadline are planned.
