Spain's Minimum Income (IMV) eligibility limit set at €723 and July 2026 payment schedule
The Ingreso Mínimo Vital (IMV) – Spain's guaranteed minimum income – can be claimed by individuals whose monthly earnings are up to €723, provided they meet other eligibility criteria. The benefit tops up households to a guaranteed income of €733.60 for a single adult, with higher amounts for larger families and additional supplements for single‑parent families or members with severe disability. Young adults over 23 may also apply even if they live with their parents, as long as they demonstrate economic independence.
For the July 2026 installment, the Social Security administration sets the official payment window between the first and fourth business day of the month. Individual banks may advance the credit: Santander is expected to credit accounts on 23 July (value date 24 July), CaixaBank on 24 July, BBVA on 25 July, and Unicaja on the last business day, 31 July. The amount transferred varies per household, reflecting the difference between reported income and the guaranteed minimum.
Beneficiaries must annually file a tax return to verify continued eligibility; failure to do so can lead to suspension or loss of the benefit.
