Spain's Palencia province and Castilla‑La Mancha allocate funds for tourism and industrial projects

The Diputación de Palencia will grant roughly €134,000 to 37 municipal projects in the province, with subsidies ranging from €400 to €15,400. The aid is intended to promote local natural, cultural and monumental assets, organise events, support festivals of tourist interest and improve the overall attractiveness of the area.

In Castilla‑La Mancha, regional authorities have mobilised more than €1.85 billion in Incentives Regionales since 2015, providing €357.4 million to 178 investment projects. In the latest year the programme delivered €80 million in aid, including an €8.7 million contribution to Covinil’s €34 million expansion in Illescas, aimed at increasing production capacity and sustainability. Both initiatives are part of a broader strategy to boost tourism and industrial growth across their respective regions using European funds and regional budgets.
