Spain's PP deputy Carmen Fúnez criticises PM Sánchez and health minister

Carmen Fúnez, the Popular Party's deputy secretary for Health and Social Policy, said Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez emerged from a parliamentary debate defending only his family and former leader José Luis Zapatero, accusing him of abandoning the government and the country. She called for Sánchez's removal from the Moncloa and urged voters to act in the upcoming election.

Fúnez also rebuked Health Minister Monica García, alleging the minister has not met with medical unions at all during the current dispute over the new health framework law. She accused García of shifting responsibility to the autonomous regions and inflaming the health sector, while demanding a broader agreement with unions and regions for any reform.
