Spain's regional health services extend staff promotion and transfer deadlines

The Andalusian Health Service (SAS) issued a resolution setting a July 17 2026 deadline for staff to submit their self‑assessment (autobaremo) and documented merits electronically via the Ventanilla Electrónica de Profesionales. The process applies to management, services personnel and healthcare workers in groups C1, C2, A1 and A2 (non‑essential units) seeking promotion to levels III, IV or V, while managers and those with full union‑representative exemptions are excluded.

The Galician Health Service (SERGAS) revised its open and permanent transfer competition, moving the application and merit‑registration deadline to 15 February 2026 to ease entry for newly hired staff. An extraordinary deadline of 31 July 2026 was also set for updates to specialist family‑and‑community nursing files, and a €120,032 procurement was announced for two neonatal transport incubators for hospitals in Valdeorras and Pontevedra.
