Indra Group Earns Spain’s First AENOR Certification for Responsible AI Using Microsoft Tools

Indra Group has become the first Spanish company to receive AENOR’s certification for “Technology of Responsible AI based on Microsoft tools.” The certification, awarded on 13 July in Madrid, confirms that Indra applies responsible‑AI principles throughout the lifecycle of its AI agents, including control, traceability, data quality, versioning, cost management and continuous improvement.

The ceremony was attended by Microsoft Spain’s president, AENOR’s CEO, and Indra’s Global CIO. The evaluation covered two Indra‑developed AI agents—a onboarding assistant and a regulatory‑supervision tool—demonstrating compliance with AENOR’s criteria for ethical, transparent and accountable AI deployment.
