Spain's Transport Ministry announces July traffic cuts on N‑6 and LE‑20 routes
The Spanish Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility will suspend traffic on the national N‑6 highway between kilometre 44 and 46.9 near Guadarrama from 13 July to 24 July for road‑surface rehabilitation. Drivers can access the area via alternative routes from Alpedrete or Guadarrama, and bus stops on the N‑6 corridor will be temporarily cancelled.
Separate works on the lower‑level crossing of the LE‑20 with La Granja in León will cause traffic disruptions on 13, 14 and 15 July. The project includes constructing an inner ring at the existing roundabout, full resurfacing and concrete patching of La Granja street. Local police will manage the detours, advising drivers to use the LE‑30 or the city’s southern axis as alternatives.
