Spain's Valencian tax agency sets June 30 deadline for 2025 income tax filings
The Valencian Tax Agency announced that the filing deadline for the 2025 income‑tax return is 30 June. The agency has helped taxpayers submit over 29,000 returns through phone‑based assistance, the "Más cerca de ti" in‑person program at 70 points across the region, and the "Le Llamamos" telephone service. The Instituto Valenciano de Atención Social‑Sanitaria also filed 4,177 returns for tutored persons. New regional deductions for health, mental‑health, sport and cultural activities apply to individual incomes up to €60,000 and joint incomes up to €78,000, with an additional deduction to promote musical training.
Self‑employed workers receiving letters from the tax authority are warned that the notices are informational, not investigative. They should verify any discrepancies on the agency’s electronic portal, keep supporting documents, and only correct the return if their own records confirm an error, to avoid overpaying.
