Spanish agricultural markets show mixed commodity and livestock price trends

Agricultural markets in Spain have shown varied price movements across different commodities and regions. In Binéfar, barley prices rose by 4 euros per tonne to 244 euros. Wheat prices also saw slight increases, with feed wheat rising by 1 euro to 261 euros and bread wheat reaching 270 euros.

In Salamanca, sunflower prices decreased by 5 euros per tonne for both conventional and high oleic varieties. Corn prices in Salamanca dropped by 1 euro to 248 euros, while alfalfa prices in the same region rose by 7 euros per tonne. In León, barley and oats saw modest increases, while corn harvesting progresses rapidly due to stable weather and low grain moisture.

In the livestock sector, the Albacete market reported rising prices for most lamb categories, including Manchego lamb. Conversely, prices for kids (cabritos) saw a decline. Prices for sheep and goat milk remained stable.
