Spanish architecture events honor Aníbal González and Antoni Gaudí

The XXV Architecture Week in Seville will take place from October 5 to 10, titled ‘Aníbal González and the transformation of the city’. Organized by the Official College of Architects of Seville and the Fidas Foundation, the event commemorates the 150th anniversary of the architect's birth and focuses on his influence on Seville's urban evolution during the early 20th century.

The program includes an exhibition running until November 13, featuring original plans, photographs, and historical documents that highlight urban changes during the preparations for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition. Activities also consist of guided routes, debates, and urban drawing sessions.

In another architectural event, architect Rodrigo Almonacid will present his book, ‘Gaudí. Architectural analysis of the Episcopal Palace of Astorga and Casa Botines of León’, at the Casa Botines Museum on October 7. The study examines Gaudí's works in the Leon region, analyzing technical aspects such as light management, ventilation, and structural forms to highlight their historical and architectural significance.
