Spanish authorities investigate separate cases of alleged child abuse

Authorities in Spain are investigating two distinct incidents involving the alleged mistreatment of minors.

In Madrid, a court is investigating a preschool teacher and two administrators from the Alborada school in Alcalá de Henares. The investigation, involving allegations of torture, attacks on moral integrity, and degrading treatment, follows reports of physical aggression against infants. Allegations include hitting children in the head and mouth, as well as forced feeding by pinching their noses. The case has been transferred to a court in Alcalá de Henares.

In Granada, a father is under investigation for suspected domestic violence after a six-year-old boy arrived at school in Maracena with bruises on his face. Following the teacher's report, local police intervened and determined there were insufficient safety guarantees within the family. The child was subsequently transferred to a minor protection center in Granada.
