Real Madrid signs Eli Ndiaye to two-year deal

Real Madrid has officially announced the return of power forward Eli Ndiaye on a two-season contract lasting until the end of the 2027-2028 season. The 22-year-old, standing 2.04 meters tall, returns to the club where he previously won eight titles between 2021 and 2025.

Ndiaye’s return follows a stint in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks, where he faced challenges including a shoulder injury that required surgery and an inability to make his official debut. Real Madrid secured the player by exercising its right of first refusal, matching an offer previously presented by Valencia Basket.

The signing strengthens the roster under coach Pedro Martínez, addressing a need for interior depth following the departure of Mario Hezonja. Ndiaye will compete for minutes alongside players such as Chuma Okeke, Jaime Pradilla, and Mikael Jantunen.
