Spanish bullfighting fairs record strong attendance and feature star line‑ups in 2026
The Feria de San Isidro 2026 at Madrid's Las Ventas concluded on 14 June after 28 spectacles, drawing a cumulative 611,818 spectators – an average of 21,851 per event – and marking 19 occasions with no tickets available. The programme included notable matadors such as Alejandro Talavante, Fernando Adrián, Diego Urdiales, Antonio Ferrera and Román, as well as novilleros and the rejoneador Diego Ventura, with several performances earning trophies and ear awards.
In Huelva, the Feria Taurina de Colombinas 2026 was officially launched at Plaza de Toros de La Merced, organised by entrepreneur José Luis Pereda López and highlighting the return of the famed Miura cattle. The event roster, running from late July to early August, features local star David de Miranda alongside other prominent toreros and rejoneadores, with a diverse schedule of novilladas, corridas and rejoneo bouts.
