Spanish business groups pledge aid for communities hit by Guadalajara forest fire
The Chamber of Commerce of Segovia expressed solidarity with the municipalities of the province that were affected by the forest fire that broke out in the Brieva area, noting the evacuation of eight population centres and praising the coordinated work of emergency services, including the Guardia Civil, firefighters and volunteers. It urged residents to follow official recommendations and stay informed through official channels.
CEOE‑Cepyme Guadalajara also conveyed its deepest support for residents, businesses, SMEs and autonomous workers impacted by the fire in La Mierla. The organisation highlighted the effort of firefighters, civil protection, the agricultural community and volunteers, and offered advisory services, information and assistance to mitigate the economic losses, while pledging cooperation with the Castilla‑La Mancha government on possible aid measures.
