Spanish designers Manu Sánchez and Roberto Verino highlight Madrid fashion
Spanish fashion designers Manu Sánchez and Roberto Verino are marking significant milestones within the Madrid fashion scene.
Manu Sánchez is preparing a special fashion show for October 1 at the Casa de Córdoba de Madrid, the oldest regional house in Spain, which is also celebrating its 70th anniversary. The event commemorates Sánchez’s 30 years in Madrid and 27 years of professional career. Sánchez, who has previously showcased in Paris, described Madrid as a “school” for his work in haute couture.
Meanwhile, Roberto Verino returned to Madrid Fashion Week to present his ‘Desde Dentro’ autumn-winter 2026 collection. The collection focuses on tailoring, leather, and structured coats, emphasizing quality and functionality over fleeting trends. Verino stated that his goal is to create versatile garments that serve as an investment rather than a temporary expense, adapting to modern hybrid work models.
