Spanish football broadcasting updates: Digi loses 1ª RFEF rights

The Spanish Football Federation has confirmed the broadcasting lineup for the 1ª RFEF category, officially excluding the operator Digi from transmitting these matches. This decision makes Digi one of the major operators offering the least football content, as it will no longer provide the ten matches per matchday it previously offered. Other operators and regional television stations will cover the category to provide more viewing options for fans.

Regarding European club competitions, the draws for the 2026/2027 Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League are scheduled to take place in Monaco. While Movistar and Orange remain the primary providers for full access to UEFA club competitions and LaLiga, Movistar Plus has announced that the draws will be available to watch for free online via its free plan, regardless of the viewer's service provider.
