Spanish Primera Federación broadcasting updates

Overview

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has introduced a new audiovisual plan for the Primera Federación for the 2026/27 season to increase league visibility. The strategy involves a combination of three subscription-based platforms, five national operators, and five regional television channels—TVG, Esport3, La 7 de Murcia, Aragón TV, and Betevé—which will broadcast selected matches for free to local audiences.

Following the announcement of the new structure, it was confirmed that the operator Digi will be excluded from the broadcasting lineup for the 1ª RFEF category. This change means Digi will no longer provide the ten matches per matchday it previously offered. Meanwhile, Movistar and Orange remain the primary providers for LaLiga and UEFA club competitions.
