Spanish logistics firms expand fleets with Renault and Scania trucks

Spanish logistics companies Transportes Cunino and Estela Trans are expanding their fleets with new heavy-duty trucks to support international operations.

Transportes Cunino, which operates in Navarra and Lleida, has added eight Renault Trucks T High 520 CV units. This brings their total to 18 Renault vehicles dedicated to the specialized transport of live animals, including cattle, sheep, pigs, and horses. The new trucks feature technology to manage ventilation, hydration, and temperature from the cabin to ensure animal welfare during long-distance trips.

Almería-based Estela Trans has acquired 17 Scania S-series tractors equipped with 500 CV engines. These vehicles utilize the Scania Super powertrain to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce consumption. The fleet expansion aims to improve driver comfort during long-haul international routes, with 80% of the company's activity focused on industrial goods and 20% on refrigerated transport.
