Spanish luxury hospitality sector sees expansion and industry recognition

The Spanish luxury hospitality sector is seeing significant developments in both Seville and the Costa Blanca region. In Seville, Hotel Don Ramón is undergoing an expansion following the acquisition of two properties on Tarifa Street. The project will increase the hotel's capacity to 48 rooms and introduce a small gym and a 100-square-meter luxury MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) space. A new breakfast area, designed as a greenhouse/patio, has already been launched. The full expansion is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. Additionally, Kaizen is planning the future Felipe V hotel on Betis Street, scheduled to open between March and May 2027.

In the Valencian Community, Alicante Global Group has been awarded the ‘Premio Desarrollo Hotelero Premium Costa Blanca Norte’ by the newspaper INFORMACIÓN. The award recognizes the company's approach to high-value hotel and residential projects that prioritize low construction density and environmental integration. The group's strategy focuses on bioclimatic architecture and preserving the Mediterranean landscape, moving away from mass tourism toward more exclusive, sustainable models.
