Spanish Mountain Gold Project in British Columbia Reports High-Grade Drill Results

Spanish Mountain Gold’s 2026 drilling program at its Spanish Mountain project in British Columbia has intersected extensive high‑grade gold zones. Drill hole 26‑DH‑1390 cut 252 m of mineralisation starting at about 76 m depth, averaging 0.82 g/t Au, with a 94 m interval at 1.32 g/t and a 5 m section at 3.23 g/t around 195 m depth. Additional holes reinforce the prospectivity: 26‑DH‑1386 recorded 18 m at 0.96 g/t (236 m) and 10 m at 2.19 g/t (296 m); 26‑DH‑1388 logged 22 m at 0.97 g/t (217 m) and 69 m at 0.75 g/t. Analysts say these results strengthen the hypothesis of the Orca corridor, extending the known mineralised envelope west, south and east of the core zone. To date the company has completed roughly 31 % of its planned 60,000 m of drilling and is advancing a feasibility study aimed at a 2028 investment decision for mine construction. The project, located about 500 km northeast of Vancouver, benefits from existing transport, hydro‑electric power and a seasoned labour force, and recently signed a US$55 million licensing deal with Wheaton Pre.
