Spanish municipalities facilitate thermalism programs for seniors

Municipalities in Spain are facilitating thermalism programs for senior citizens. In Arganda del Rey, the City Council has doubled the available spots for its thermalism program during the current term. This initiative allows over one hundred participants to stay at the Balneario de Cofrentes for ten days, offering thermal circuits, specialized treatments, and excursions designed to improve quality of life.

In Belmez, the City Council has announced the opening of the application period for the IMSERSO Thermalism Program. New applicants who are not already enrolled must submit their requests through the Belmez Social Welfare Department by October 31, 2026. The local government is providing administrative assistance to facilitate these applications for interested residents.
