Spanish Navy announces public activities in San Fernando and Ferrol for National Day

The Spanish Navy is organizing a series of public activities and open-house events in San Fernando and Ferrol to celebrate the National Day on October 12.

In San Fernando, the program includes visits to the Naval Museum, the Real Observatorio de la Armada, and the Panteón de Marinos Ilustres. Specific events feature an astronomical observation and lecture regarding the 2027 solar eclipse, guided tours of the La Carraca Arsenal, and static exhibitions of military vehicles and equipment by the Tercio de la Armada.

In Ferrol, activities scheduled between October 8 and 11 include sea baptisms, ship visits, and educational activities. The program also features a concert by the Tercio del Norte Music Unit, a demonstration by the Cinological Unit, and a solidarity fishing day to benefit the Cocina Económica de Ferrol.
