Spanish polls project right-wing dominance in future elections

Recent political polling in Spain indicates a significant shift in the electoral landscape, projecting a strong performance for right-wing parties. According to surveys from Sigma Dos and Sociométrica, the People's Party (PP) and Vox are expected to gain dominance across numerous provinces.

Sigma Dos projections suggest that the PP and Vox could win in 38 provinces, significantly reducing the influence of the left-wing bloc, which is projected to lead in only eight provinces. The combined strength of the right-wing parties is estimated to reach between 196 and 204 seats, potentially approaching an absolute majority of 176 seats.

Conversely, polling suggests a historic decline for the left. Sociométrica forecasts a record low for the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), projecting approximately 103 seats, with the total left-wing count including Podemos reaching only 112 seats. This would represent one of the poorest historical results for the left in Spanish democracy.
