Spanish political polls project rise in right-wing support
Recent polling data indicates a significant shift in the Spanish political landscape, suggesting a major rise for right-wing parties and a decline for the left-wing bloc.
According to surveys from SocioMétrica and NC Report, the combined vote share for the PSOE, Sumar, and Podemos could fall as low as 34.6%, while the PP and Vox could reach approximately 52.2%. The PP is projected to lead with a significant share of votes, while Vox shows substantial growth, potentially doubling its current seat count.
The PSOE faces a decline in support, with projections suggesting a loss of approximately 18 to 20 deputies compared to the 2023 general elections. The left-wing coalition Sumar is expected to see a major contraction, potentially losing over 20 seats. Meanwhile, Vox is noted for attracting both former Socialist voters and previously abstaining citizens.
