Spanish provincial councils launch equality and gender violence initiatives

The Diputación de Sevilla has launched a specialized training course focused on gender violence. The program is designed for legal advisors and equality agents working within municipal Equality Points throughout the province of Seville. The initiative aims to enhance the quality of care and specialized knowledge for professionals who directly assist women victims of violence.

In Badajoz, the Diputación de Badajoz has introduced 'Activa la Racha', an educational project targeting adolescents. Through an online platform, students participate in digital challenges designed to identify discriminatory behaviors, question stereotypes, and promote respectful social media use. The project includes activities in various localities and will conclude with a session titled 'Nuestra voz en el Pleno', where young participants can share their reflections and proposals at the provincial council.
