Spanish provincial road upgrades boost safety in A Coruña and Cáceres

The Deputación da Coruña completed a €214,000 improvement of the DP-0105 provincial road in Cortiñán, adding a one‑way traffic system, widening sidewalks, renewing pavement and installing new signage to enhance safety for residents living close to the road. President Valentín González Formoso and Bergondo mayor Alejandra Pérez Máquez highlighted the project’s goal of making the route safer and more comfortable for pedestrians.

In the province of Cáceres, the Diputación de Cáceres finished a €750,000 structural renewal of the CC‑311 road linking Santiago de Alcántara with the EX‑374. The work, overseen by vice‑president Fernando García Nicolás, widened the road, improved the surface and added safety measures, while also supporting local sports facilities through additional municipal investments.
