Spanish regions launch new tourism promotion campaigns
Spanish regional authorities are implementing diverse marketing strategies to boost local tourism. In Galicia, the Diputación is projecting the award-winning “Rías Baixas: tu meta, tu destino” campaign on large screens in Madrid’s Gran Vía. The initiative aims to decentralize tourism and promote active, sustainable travel through nearly 3,800 broadcasts in high-traffic cultural areas.
In Andalusia, the Diputación de Cádiz is utilizing digital content creators and international media to reach European markets. The campaign has engaged British travel agents, German journalists, and Northern European influencers to showcase the province’s gastronomy, nature, and heritage. This strategy follows increased connectivity, such as Jet2 routes connecting Jerez to several UK cities, and aims to capitalize on record-breaking traveler numbers.
