Spanish research institutions host European Researchers' Night events

On September 25, 2026, several Spanish institutions will participate in the European Researchers' Night to promote scientific engagement with the public.

The University of Alicante (UA) will host over 80 activities across its campus and various sites. The program includes workshops on robotics, geopolitics, finance, and crime investigation, as well as immersive experiences in geography, law, and economics. The event is divided into two sessions: a morning session for secondary and vocational students requiring prior registration, and an evening session open to the general public.

Simultaneously, the Centre d’Estudis Avançats de Blanes (CEAB-CSIC) will hold its own event under the theme ‘Knowledge at the service of nature’. This session will focus on the role of scientific research in the conservation and restoration of ecosystems. Participants will have the opportunity to interact directly with research teams to discuss environmental challenges and ongoing projects.
