Spanish Royal Family concludes Macron visit, prepares for Finland trip
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain have concluded a two-day State visit by French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron. The visit concluded with a reception at the French Embassy in Madrid, aimed at strengthening political, economic, and institutional ties between France and Spain.
Following this event, the Spanish Royal Family begins a busy October schedule. On October 5, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will embark on their first State visit to Finland since their accession to the throne. The trip will include visits to Helsinki and Rovaniemi to reinforce European strategic autonomy, security, and defense cooperation in the Arctic and Baltic regions. The itinerary includes a gala dinner hosted by Finnish President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Iness-Stubb.
Additionally, the Royal Family will preside over the military parade and reception for the Day of the Hispanidad on October 12.
