Spanish towns announce 2026 patron saint festival programs
The municipality of San Esteban de Gormaz (Spain) has launched a competition to select the official poster for its 2026 patron saint celebrations, which will run from 7 to 11 September. Artists may submit digital or traditional designs in a vertical A3 format that include the festival’s official text and the town’s coat of arms. Submissions must be sent electronically by 23:59 CET on 24 July, and the winner will receive a €200 prize.
In Alzira, the local government presented the programme for the Sant Bernat festivities scheduled for 17 to 23 July 2026. The seven‑day schedule features a series of free concerts and tribute shows across five venues, headlined by acts such as Rafa Sánchez, OBK and Tenesse. Organisers anticipate around 15 000 attendees and have allocated roughly €420 000 for the events, which include fireworks and a final concert by the band La Fúmiga.
