Spain funds multiple local infrastructure projects totaling over €1.8 million

Municipal authorities across Spain are carrying out a series of public‑space and sports‑facility upgrades. In Cambrils, the town council has invested €623,000 to build a new pergola and revamp the market square, including new paving, lighting and bicycle parking. Torrelavega will spend €299,178 on a full replacement of the roof of the La Habana Vieja sports pavilion, adding corrosion‑proofing, sandwich panels and polycarbonate glazing. The municipality of El Escorial is allocating more than €500,000 to modernise two primary schools, improving energy efficiency, replacing metal carpentry and upgrading sports‑hall flooring. Córdoba’s Institute of Sports will inject €368,000 into the Vista Alegre sports hall for climate‑control repairs, drainage fixes and a large new canopy at the entrance. In Cañada Rosal, a new children’s playground has opened as part of a broader municipal plan to create and refurbish recreational areas. These projects, together with smaller works such as oxygenation improvements in Sevilla’s ponds, aim to enhance community facilities while minimising disruption by using summer construction windows.
