Spanish universities host summer academic programs in literature and education

Various Spanish universities are concluding their summer academic programming with specialized courses in literature, education, and linguistics.

The University of León (ULE) is hosting a 30-hour course in La Bañeza titled ‘Antonio Colinas y el espacio: otras miradas’. The program focuses on the work and thought of the contemporary Spanish poet Antonio Colinas, involving specialists, poets, and educators. The sessions aim to analyze Spanish poetry from the new millennium and provide teaching materials for secondary and university levels.

In Baeza, the International University of Andalusia (UNIA) is conducting workshops focused on inclusive education and language instruction. Key topics include teaching Spanish to immigrants and refugees, the relationship between writers and their literary worlds, and the role of educational technology in social inclusion. Other sessions cover diverse subjects ranging from the history of bullfighting to the intersection of philology and health sciences.
